TAVERN ON GEORGE
A cozy atmosphere, elevated pub food, doughnut flights and live music every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night makes the Tavern on George one of our must-visit restaurants while you’re in town. Located in the heart of Hub City and in a historic building, the restaurant kept the original wood beam ceilings, iron chandelier fixtures and an old train set that chugs along the interior of the space. And did we mention that their live jazz music every Wednesday night is awesome?

CATHERINE LOMBARDI
With two large fireplaces, an elegant bar, and 21 windows overlooking George Street & Livingston Avenue, Catherine Lombardi’s offers a classy setting and dramatic bird’s-eye-view of the New Brunswick Theater District. Their Neapolitan-based and heavily Brooklyn-influenced menu is inspired by the food and culture of one of the owner’s Italian grandmothers – Catherine Lombardi herself. We love their extensive wine list that features mostly estate-bottled wines from small producers, and they make some of the best classic cocktails in town… all from scratch!

STAGE LEFT STEAK
Stage Left is famous for its wood-grilled steaks, award-winning wine list and pioneering cocktail program, and has been an incubator for many of the NY region’s top chefs and mixologists.
